You can be housed in the convent close to the 17th Century basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità, in the heart of the popular and historic “Sanità” District. A famous Neapolitan designer, Riccardo Dalisi, together with the boys of the cooperative "La Paranza" redesigned spaces, once used by the monks, and furnishings obtaining six warm and cozy rooms.
The ancient monastery was tastefully decorated, restoring antique furniture, paintings and adding precious and historical tiles and doors. The House of Monacone is situated in a strategic position for visiting the city, both ancient and modern districts, close to Metro lines 1 and 2, within walking distance from Spaccanapoli (the ancient road crossing all the hystorical Napoli), with its churches and the Duomo (chatedral), the Vomero hill (modern city), near the famous picture gallery of Capodimonte and its gardens and the National Archaeological Museum.
